The devolved governments in Wales and Scotland and many councils in England are offering significant funding for the installation of Gigabit-capable Fibre on Demand.

Working as part of a small group of neighbouring premises, each customer can claim a voucher, while splitting the costs between each party. This has the effect of reducing the installation price to a level that will be covered by the voucher funding.

With this big increase in funding, gigabit broadband is now a reality for the millions of rural people who need faster broadband speeds, either to run their business, to work from home, or simply to stream entertainment from services like Netflix and BBC iPlayer.

From September 2020, the following schemes are now available for Fibre on Demand (FoD) services.
